To reduce the negative impact of the 5 Yellow in the SOUTH of your home, you can place a salt water cure there. You can also replace the salt water cure with heavy copper objects or metal WIND CHIMES that you ring from time to time. The important thing is to avoid carrying out any renovation work in the SOUTH of your home in 2026, because of the presence of the 5 Yellow.
The salt water cure recipe:
- Take a glass container and fill it with eight kilos of coarse white salt, or more if the space is very large.
- Cover with water, to about two fingers’ width above the salt.
- Traditionally, 6 Chinese coins and one silver coin were placed on the salt. But it works just as well (and even better) with a very large handful of 1, 2 or 5 euro cent coins, or with objects made of copper, iron or steel, but not aluminium. Add something made of silver as well (a coin or old broken jewellery).
- Place the container in the afflicted sector, which is the SOUTH (4 February 2026 to 3 February 2027) *.
- This year, exceptionally, you can place your salt water cure in the SOUTH at the end of December.
- The salt may bubble and creep up the sides of the container. This is a normal reaction. There is no need to change the water. You can scrape the salt off the sides.
- Add water as it evaporates. The salt attacks the metal, which gradually dissolves into the water. As the water evaporates, it carries the metal energy into the air and weakens the formidable earth energy present in this sector.
- Do not place this cure at the back of a cupboard. It must be in the open air, otherwise it will not work.
* Each year, the negative energy moves to a different sector: in 2027 it will be in the NORTH, and you will remove your salt water cure from the SOUTH.
